Posted on 04/17/2025
Project Name: Crossings Campus
Month / Year: April 2025
We are pleased to provide an update on the Crossings Campus construction project, located at 8825 National Blvd (Building 1, Culver City) and 8888 Venice Blvd (Building 2, Los Angeles). Concrete pouring activities for Building 1 are expected to complete by June 2025. Mass excavation for Building 2 is now complete with concrete pouring taking place approximately every 10 days.
Upcoming Work/Closures
The electrical service extension in National Blvd is now complete. The National Blvd lane closure will be extended by 20 days to May 9th for all remaining utilities to be brought to Building 1. This extended lane closure will eliminate the need for two future closures on National Blvd. This will affect the northbound lane (adjacent to the sidewalk) on National Blvd between Venice Blvd and approximately 200’ south of Washington Blvd.
- Work will commence on Monday, April 14 and will last approximately 20 work days.
- Traffic control measures will be implemented between the hours of 9 am to 3:30 PM (non-peak hours) Monday through Friday.
- Pedestrians will be detoured onto the west side of National Blvd between Washington Blvd and Venice Blvd
- Building 1 concrete pouring is ongoing under the extended construction hours Temporary Use permit and pouring days continue to commence at 2:00AM on (5) separate occasions until June 2025
- Building 2 concrete pouring is ongoing under the approved Noise Variance permit and is expected to continue for the next several months.

The project general contractor (Hathaway Dinwiddie) will have personnel on site to ensure these activities are carried out in a safe manner and members of the community are given safe passage.
